Geneva talks - Reportedly Georgia plans to compromise

Reportedly, the Georgian side might compromise in negotiations within the Geneva Discussions. In return, the head of the delegation, David Dondua, may continue his work in diplomatic service in Greece.

Former deputy minister of foreign affairs Nino Kalandadze states that Davit Dondua is under a great pressure because Russia tries to push its own version on non-use of force, where the Kremlin will be presented as a side.

"The statements were so vague that a behind this document is a step, which will be unacceptable for the Georgian society and seriously hurt our state interests. It is quite unpleasant to say that Georgia"s official representative, Mr. David Dondua, is under a serious pressure, strongly oppressed, from the Georgian side as well and forced to agree to the Russian proposal and in exchange for it to get the status of ambassador as we know in Greece, "- said Nino Kalandadze, the UNM member.

Representatives of European Georgia claim that the Georgian side will be damaged by the Geneva negotiations.
