An Azeri citizen is detained in Tbilisi on charges of violence against a minor. The 22-year-old foreign citizen has abused the eighth grader boy in a lift.

The teenager was transferred to Iashvili clinic with plenty of injuries. Eyewitnesses say they heard the tug of the teenager asking for help from the elevator .

According to the Interior Ministry, the crime envisages 4 to 6 years of imprisonment. An investigation was initiated under Article 126 (2) (d) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies the violence committed against a minor .
