Russian "НТВ-плюс" will start broadcasting in Georgia. According to the statement posted on the website of the company, the leading Russian media holding, Gazprom Media, operator of "NTV plus" entered the Georgian TV broadcasting market. It will offer more than 90 Russian and foreign satellite channels, more than 20 channels of Gazprom Media.

According to the Director General of "NTV-PLUS", the company discusses broadcasting in Georgia as a social mission rather than business.
