Employee of the Revenue Service detained on bribery charges

The State Security Service has detained an officer of the Revenue Service Administration Department on bribery.

According to the investigation, he promised a citizen to help to reduce a state debti in exchange for 5000 GEL as a bribe.

Investigation is in progress under the article 338 Part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 9 years.
