Three-year prison sentence has been completed - Tripoli court has decided to free Georgian sailor Soslan Kakabadze. Currently Ambassador of Georgia to Egypt is in Libya. Aleksandre Nalbandov also visited other detained Georgian sailors. He is holding meetings in the Libyan Foreign Ministry.

The Turkish vessel, sailing under the flag of Tanzania, was detained in Libya on August 30. There were three Georgian sailors, including one captain among the detainees.

Soslan Kakabadze worked as a cook on the ship.

At this time another two Georgian citizens remain in Libya prison. Their trial will be held at the end of May.
