14-day prison sentence - lawyers of Zviad Kuprava will appeal against decision of City Court today

Zviad Kuprava and lawyers of three other detainees will appeal against the decision of the city court today.

The lawyers state that the decision of the judge is absurd and it is rendered on political grounds.

Zviad Kuprava, one of the main organizers of the rally "Do not Kill" and Zaza Sarlidze"s main supporter together with other protesters was arrested in the morning yesterday.

They are accused of minor hooliganism and resistance to police.

The court sentenced four detainees to 14 days in prison.
