According to Mamuka Bakhtadze, candidate for Prime Minister of Georgia, the formal composition of the government will be introduced to the parliament. The reason for this is the deadline in which the composition of the government should be approved.
According to Bakhtadze, after the approval of the current government, the reduced government will be introduced and will become 11 instead of 14.
According to the statement of the Prime Minister, the reduction of the number of ministries requires legislative amendments, which can not be implemented in given terms of time.
"The Parliament of Georgia must declare trust to the new government and its program. One of the main principles of this program is the concept of small government, which implies flexible and effective governance structures and diminished government measures in the overall economy," - said Mamuka Bakhtadze.
