The MIA detained a nanny who systematically beat the twin brother and sister on the charges of violence against minor children.

According to the information released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the officers of Vake-Saburtalo division of the Tbilisi Police Department, as a result of operative-investigative activities detained I.T. born in 1971 on charges of child abuse.

"The investigation found that the accused, who was working as a nanny in one of the families, was systematically beating twins born in 2017. The video camera secretly installed by the family members in the apartment detected the facts of violence against the children, so the mother informed about it the police," the statement says.

Investigation is conducted on the fact of violence committed against minor children.
