Protest rally against the construction of a small power plant "Kheldula 3" in Svaneti was held.

The locals fear that construction of the HPP will result in ecological catastrophe, destroying unique species of trout and damaging houses. Especially since the company intends to bring special equipment to the village of Tsanash in Lentekhi district.

The locals held protest raly at the building of the municipality and demanded the company to stop working.
