Andres Mamikins, Member of the European Parliament, who is on his visit to Georgia, is meeting with representatives of parliamentary factions today. Audience is planned with the Prime Minister today. At the end of the day, Andrés Mamikin was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

The meeting focused on the importance of the support of the European Parliament on the background of Moscow"s illegal policy.

Davit Zalkaliani thanked the European MP for resolution on Georgia adopted by the European Parliament on June 14.

"This was my first meeting with the new Foreign Minister of Georgia. Mr. Zalkaliani is an experienced Georgian diplomat. We discussed a number of international issues. We discussed the situation in the occupied South Ossetia and Abkhazia, as well as the European internal policy, "said European Parliament MP Andres Mamikins.
