A 38-year-old man was shot dead and a 45-year-old man was wounded in Varketili. Reportedly, the incident was preceded by an argument. The wounded man was taken to a hospital by a medical emergency group. Doctors say that the condition of the injured is stable.

"There was a gunshot wound in the chest area. The patient was transferred to the operating block and the wound revision was performed. At this moment his life is not in danger, "said Dr. Spartak Giorgadze.

Investigation into the case is launched into  attempted murder and intentional murder in aggravating circumstances. The identity of the alleged culprit has been established and investigative measures are underway to detain him.
