After a 4-hour questioning, a new lawyer has been reported to be involved in protecting the interests of Mirza Subeliani, a key figure in prison scandalous records.

The two lawyers defending the prisoner"s interests up to now did not attend the interrogation process.

Representatives of the Prosecutor"s Office entered Penitentiary Establishment after the dissemination of information about the scandalous records of Mirza Subeliani and the physical violence against him.

The interrogation started yesterday at 6 o"clock, and it lasted for about 4 hours.

According to the lawyer, the prisoner received injuries while trying to committ suicide.

"Mirza Subeliani answered all the questions, the last one was asked about whether he confirmed or not the information stated by him in the records. He answered that this information was the personal conversation between the two individuals and its content was based on the attempt to influence the MP in order to obtain beneficial attitude from the latter. He confirms that he spoke about this issue but denies the reality of the content of the conversation, "said Kakha Khvistani, lawyer of Mirza Subeliani.
