Transparency International Georgia calls for the re-investigation of the ongoing investigation into the incident in Akhalkalaki.

According to the NGO, investigation into the hooliganism article is inadequate in the created situation and it should be changed.

Third sector representatives still do not know whether the accused have been charged. The Interior Ministry has started criminal proceedings against 15 persons for various incidents related to the elections, including members of the opposition and ruling party.
