The court sentenced the employee of the Emergency Management Service to pretrial detention late last night.
Emzar Zourabichvili is accused of using an object as a weapon, which envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.The defense side is going to appeal against the decision of the court.
According to the investigation, Zurabishvili injured the head of the prison supervision service, Chabua Gusharashvili and escaped from the scene.The police are still looking for another person. The incident took place three days ago at the restaurant "Tsiskvi".
Three persons were injured in the incident, including former deputy minister of justice Zviad Mikhanashvili and deputy head of probation service Irakli Chitanava
