The hearing of the case of Gega Gegeshidze, President of the Wrestling Federation will continue on May 17. At today"s session the judge heard the evidence of the prosecution.The video recordings of violence on Zurab Datunashvili and the court"s explanation of the case will be discussed at the next hearing.
A criminal case against Gega Gegeshidze was launched because of the confrontation at the Sports Palace when he attacked European champion Zurab Datunashvili. Gega Gegeshidze was detained because of the incident, but the court freed him in exchange for bail and Gegeshidze continued to work on the position of president of the federation.
