The trial of Giorgi Kapanadze, who is accused of minor hooliganism and resistance to police, will resume today in Zugdidi. The witnesses will be questioned. The head of the news portal "presa.ge" calls cynical yesterday`s trial. According to him, the police did not present the footage taken at the court at the trial because it confirmed that he was kidnapped and not detained.
The case concerns the incident that took place on May 19th. According to the prosecution, Kapanadze illegally attempted to examine the police vehicles and the special means placed in the car.
In the MIA they deny the allegation that they have not provided video footage and say that the relevant evidence is attached to the case.
