Police arrested 21-year-old youngster who appropriated thousands of GEL by false Facebook accounts

Law enforcers detained 21-year-old youth on fraud charges.
The investigation found that the detainee had set up 20 Facebook users" fake pages, from December 2018 to May 2018, and made the users transfer money to the fraudulent "Cristall bet " account. The defendant misappropriated 8 000 GEL.
Law enforcers seized mobile phone and plastic cards while searching for detainee"s apartment.
The investigation is underway under Article 180 (2) (b) of the Criminal Code of Georgia on the fact of fraudulent damage.
