In December 2019 the Consumer Price Index increased by 0.4% compared to the previous month, while the annual inflation rate amounted to 7.0%, the National Statistics Office of Georgia reports.

In the same period the inflation rate without tobacco amounted to 0.4% over the previous month, while the prices increased by 6.3% compared to the same month of 2018.

With regard to the annual core inflation, the prices increased by 5.2%, while the annual core inflation without tobacco amounted to 3.7%.
