Influenza does more harm to pregnant woman than COVID-19. Such a statement made today the Head of the National Center for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze.

“Of course, this is an infection and needs treatment. But everything in medicine is relative.

Influenza is more harmful to pregnant women and the fetus than coronavirus. Besides, I can say that this particular case is not serious”, - explained Gamkrelidze.
