Russia confirmed 8 371 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, raising its total number of infections to 379 051, its coronavirus response center said in a statement Thursday.

The death toll increased by 174 to 4 142, while 150 993 people have recovered, including 8 785 over the last 24 hours.

Moscow, the country’s worst-hit region, confirmed 2 054 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking its total to 173 497.

More than 9.7 million lab tests for COVID-19 have been conducted across the country so far.
