Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, MP from the Communist Party Vakha Agayev died at the age of 67 after contracting coronavirus.

“Vakha Agayev, our deputy, has died, he has recently been treated for coronavirus”, - said Yuri Afonin, deputy chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party.

The chairman of the lower house of parliament Vyacheslav Volodin said that over the past day, three deputies of the State Duma were hospitalized with a diagnosis of COVID-19: “If yesterday there were 10 deputies in a hospital bed, today there are 13”.

The speaker of the Russian State Duma said that more than 50 deputies are being treated for coronavirus infection or have antibodies.
