“Today, an agreement will be signed with the World Bank, under which Georgia will receive 85 million euros of assistance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises affected by the pandemic.
The project envisages the establishment of a new innovative system of fast payments, which will be a very good, effective means for enterprises to have access to cash. This will be done by the National Bank.
As you know, we have received very important help from donors in this process to help pandemic-affected enterprises. I want to thank the World Bank, its the Regional Director, for supporting this project. The project will be supervised by LEPL Produce in Georgia of the Ministry of Economy.
As you know, the development of small and medium enterprises is one of the main priorities for us and, of course, we will develop and present additional incentives in the near future”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
