The Namakhvani HPP project will not continue under the current conditions. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“As you know, I inherited this problem. I am actively working on this issue. Given the conditions under which this project is underway and which we have encountered, I can tell you that under such conditions we will not continue the project.

We are talking to the investor and I hope that we will make them agree to go for the good interests of our country and build this project on even better terms, which will be in the best interests of our people, including the citizens who oppose Namakhvani HPP”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
