The Ukrainian leader has called for help from nationals in the face of the Russian invasion.

Volodymyr Zelensky has asked every fit military-aged man to join the defence of the country as Russian forces make their presence known.

President said he will give weapons to every Ukrainian who wants them as the invasion continues.

On top of that, Zelensky has asked his people to donate blood as Ukraine suffers a number of casualties.

He has also begged people to spread accurate information amid the ongoing crisis.
