Simplified enrollment for Ukrainian pupils at Georgian schools renewed for new academic year

Ukrainian school students will continue to benefit from simplified enrollment at Georgian schools in the 2022-2023 academic year.

Besides, Ukrainian nationals entering higher education institutions in the country would also benefit from being exempted from having to take national exams.

Over 1500 Ukrainian pupils unable to continue classes due to the hostilities in their country have joined public and private schools both in Tbilisi and other regions of Georgia via the state initiative.

In addition, more than 900 students from the country have been enabled to continue their studies in classes held in Ukrainian language.

The latter initiative in Tbilisi and Batumi was launched by the initiative of Georgian Prime Minister, with students from the 1st to the 11th grade given the opportunity to receive general education in their native language.
