Chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, arrived in occupied Abkhazia. He flew to Sokhumi by helicopter.

At the Sokhumi airport, he was met by the so-called leader of de facto parliament of Abkhazia, Lasha Ashuba.

Meeting between Volodin and Ashuba took place in the parliament. “An agreement on cooperation between the people’s assembly of Abkhazia and the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly” was signed.

The Chairman of the Russian State Duma also met with the de facto leader of occupied region Aslan Bzhania.
