Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia met His Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II today.

The Head of Government of Georgia visited His Holiness at the Patriarchy and shared the preliminary blueprints of the Georgian Arts and Culture Centre to be constructed on the Holy Land, thereby informing him on the measures to be carried out for the construction of the Centre.

Ilia II offered his thoughts and ideas to the Prime Minister of Georgia on the blueprints of the Georgian Arts and Culture Centre.

Work is actively progressing on the construction of a Georgian Cloister in the vicinity of where Our Savior was baptized by the River Jordan. Construction of the Georgian Arts and Culture Centre will commence upon receiving the applicable construction permit.

Land parcel of 4000 sq. meters in the title ownership of Georgia is located within 15-20 meters from the place where Our Savior was baptized by the River Jordan. Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia was engaged in the process of land transfer together with Prince Ghazi of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
