Applications of the Internally Displaced Families wishing to move in the newly built buildings are starting to be accepted. Unprecedentedly large-scale project on resettlement of IDPs has been kicked off by the Decision of the Government of Georgia.

The construction of complexes is ongoing simultaneously in 5 cities of the country with the purpose of IDPs resettlement.

11residential buildings for 2,400 Internally Displaced Families [IDF] are being constructed in Tbilisi; 7 residential buildings for 1,700 IDF are being constructed in Zugdidi; 4 residential buildings for 800 IDF are being constructed in Rustavi; 3 residential buildings for 720 IDF are being constructed in Kutaisi; 1 residential building for 150 IDF are being constructed in Borjomi.

In total, 13,000 Internally Displaced Families will be provided with new housing within the resettlement program in 2023-2025. The budget of the project is 900 million GEL.
