Specific ambassadors were directly involved in the campaign beneficial to the radical opposition during the pre-election period and remained silent about the facts of systemic violence after the elections. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.
“We saw that specific ambassadors, whose position was particularly interesting, were sometimes directly involved in the campaign beneficial to the radical opposition during the pre-election period and remained silent from beginning to end regarding the facts of systemic violence after the elections. Their silence is also visible in terms of recognizing the legitimacy of the elections.
We are ready, regardless of their actions, as soon as these processes are completed, to extend a hand to each of these ambassadors ourselves. We understand that they are under very serious pressure and this pressure will continue until January 20, although I think that after January 20, these ambassadors will also be released and, accordingly, they will have the opportunity to act in a friendly and fair manner towards our country.
We will be the first to extend a hand to these ambassadors, first of all, I mean the ambassadors of the US and the European Union”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
