Tomorrow, December 14, the legislature will elect a new President of Georgia. According to the oath of the incumbent President, her 6-year term officially expires on December 16.
The inauguration of the newly elected President is scheduled for December 29.
Politicians are assessing the upcoming presidential elections.
The opposition does not give legitimacy to the candidacy of Mikheil Kavelashvili.
The ruling team, however, claims that the parliamentary majority has the legitimacy to elect a new President and says that this time the country will have a worthy leader.
