The Prime Minister of Georgia said that today is significant because of the inauguration of President Trump, who has an ambitious plan to defeat the "deep state", which will play a decisive role in normalizing Georgia-US relations.
“Today is an important day, as a new president is being inaugurated in the US, marking a pivotal moment for the country. The past four years have been quite challenging for our country and the world, with numerous crises ongoing, such as the war in Ukraine, and severe economic crises in Europe. Pseudo-liberal propaganda has expanded over these four years, with liberal fascism being a problem not only for our country but for others as well. Over these four years, there were four attempted revolutions in our country. Unfortunately, the world was not at peace and similar processes occurred in our country. We are very hopeful that the next four years will be qualitatively different, more peaceful for the world, and, of course, this should reflect on our country. President Trump has announced a very ambitious plan to defeat the “deep state”, and we wish him success. This fight"s success will be crucial for normalizing Georgia-US relations”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
He expressed hope that the fight against the “deep state” will end with President Trump"s victory, which will help ensure peace worldwide, in the region, and spread correct, healthy values instead of those actively spread globally over the past four years.
“We can once again express our readiness to reset relations, renew strategic partnerships with the US from a clean slate. We hope to have significant successes in this direction. In this respect, 2025 will also be very important”, - concluded the Head of the Georgian Government.
