
The Georgian National Wine Agency announced a "record high" of USD 565 million in exports for the wine and spirits in 2024, marking a 24% increase from 2023.
In particular, Georgia exported 95 million litres (+6%) last year to 72 countries, generating USD 276.1 million - a 7% rise compared to 2023.
Exports of Georgian wine increased to the following countries:
UAE - up 80% (70,000 litres) / Turkey - up 62% (538,000 litres) / UK - up 42% (425,600 litres) / Azerbaijan - up 34% (237,000 litres) / US - up 32% (1.2 million litres) / Germany - up 30% (1.28 million litres) / South Korea - up 26% (72,500 litres) / Canada - up 16% (198,000 litres) / Poland - up 12% (6.7 million litres) / Lithuania - up 11% (707,000 litres) / Israel - up 2% (314,000 litres).
Exports also experienced an uptick in other alcoholic beverages. With 48 million litres shipped to 56 countries, exports rose by 53%, contributing USD 289 million to the economy - a 47% increase in revenue.
