Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Olzhas Bektenov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During their face-to-face meeting at the Government House of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the dignitaries discussed the successful cooperation between the two countries across various sectors.

The positive dynamics of trade and economic relations were highlighted, along with the role of the Intergovernmental Economic Cooperation Commission in advancing these ties. The parties positively assessed the bilateral trade volumes which increased by 25% in 2024 compared to the same period in the previous year. They also discussed the potential for expanding export volumes and emphasized the importance of fully leveraging existing opportunities in this regard. Irakli Kobakhidze extended an official invitation to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan for a visit to Georgia.
