
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu.
The discussions focused on the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Georgia and Kazakhstan, as well as key regional and global issues.
During the meeting, the ministers emphasized the close friendship and partnership between the two countries and positively assessed the exchange of high-level visits.
Special attention was given to the potential for deepening bilateral trade and economic ties, as well as cooperation in the field of tourism. The parties also discussed enhancing the efficiency of the “Middle Corridor” and the active involvement of both Georgia and Kazakhstan in this process.
Both parties further discussed regional security challenges emphasizing the importance of closer cooperation in addressing these issues. The meeting took place within the framework of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s visit to Kazakhstan.
