Georgia leads the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region in the 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index

Georgia has once again secured its position as the leading country in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia, reads the latest Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) released by Transparency International.

With a score of 53/100, Georgia maintains its previous standing and ranks 53rd out of 180 countries worldwide. The country continues to be the undisputed leader in the Caucasus and Black Sea region, reinforcing its reputation for governance reforms and anti-corruption measures.

The CPI evaluates perceived levels of public sector corruption globally, using data from experts and business executives. The ranking underscores the country’s progress in governance and public sector integrity, setting a benchmark for the region.
