“This is the U.S. and the EU’s business. We are a small country, and our mission cannot be to interfere in these relations. I hope that the U.S. and the EU will find common ground. The only observation I can make is that the European Union has essentially been deprived of sovereignty over the years, particularly in recent times. I believe that the dynamics of U.S.-EU relations are a continuation of this trend, and the unfair statements directed at Georgia are symptomatic of this issue.

Where the European Union has not adequately safeguarded sovereignty, there are inevitably many regressive events and injustices. I earnestly hope that against this backdrop, including these 25% tariffs, the European Union will concentrate more on resolving its own issues, and we will witness fewer attacks on our statehood from European bureaucrats.
