Georgian wine was showcased at the VinExpo Paris exhibition, a 3-day wine and spirits event held in France from Monday through Wednesday.
According to the Georgian National Wine Agency, wine importers and experts were introduced to products of 13 Georgian companies at the fair that saw producers from 40 countries.
“Presentation of the wines in large-scale and important events in Paris would further increase their awareness on strategic European market”, - said David Tkemaladze, Deputy Chairman of the Agency.
Irakli Cholobargia, the Agency’s representative and wine expert, delivered a presentation and tasting of Georgian wine at Le Cordon Bleu, a French hospitality and culinary institution, for students of its wine management course. The showcase continued displays of the Georgian wine in Paris following the participation of 9 producers of wines stored in qvevri clay vessels at the RAW Wine Paris International Festival last week.
