A Delta plane crash-landed at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, writes dailymail.co.uk.

At least 15 people have been taken to the hospital, per Peel Regional Paramedic Services. It’s unclear what led to the dangerous incident on Flight 4819, but winds in Toronto were extremely high on Monday, reaching 40mph on the ground. At least 3 of those injured are listed in critical condition, including a child.

Aviation obsessives speculated on a message board that the jet may have been flipped by strong crosswinds. Stunned survivors also filmed themselves inside the plane after it flipped, and on the tarmac once they’d escaped.

The plane, a Bombardier CR900, was operated by a regional airline, Endeavor Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines headquartered in Minneapolis. It was carrying 76 passengers and four crew members.
