During our visit to Uzbekistan, we will have a dialogue on politically important issues for our country, which are on the international agenda - Maka Botchorishvili

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia said the Prime Minister`s "high-level" visit to Uzbekistan was "primarily" aimed at advancing key issues in bilateral relations between Georgia and Uzbekistan, particularly in terms of developing the Middle Corridor and deepening economic cooperation.

"The potential in Central Asian countries, and in this case Uzbekistan, is of significant interest to Georgia. We will have the opportunity to hold a session of the Economic Cooperation Commission, which will allow ministers of various sectors and directions to identify key issues for future collaboration through mutual agreement and dialogue.

Of course, there will also be discussions on politically important matters for our country that are on the international agenda, where our positions may align. In this regard, a high-level visit provides an excellent opportunity for an exchange of views on all critical issues", - said Maka Botchorishvili.
