Sanctioning judges is part of a blackmail to control Georgia - Kaladze

Georgia is being treated unfairly, even today, constant blackmail, slander, commanding tone. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi, while responding to the sanctions imposed by Great Britain on judges Levan Murusidze and Mikheil Chinchaladze.

“All this is just empty rhetoric. What reasonable doubt?! It’s a lie. This continues the narrative we’ve seen in recent years and months regarding the treatment of Georgia. We know how unfairly our country is being treated.

Even today, we face constant blackmail, slander, and a commanding tone. One element of this blackmail is the sanctioning of high-ranking officials. They want to control the country and use it to advance their own interests.

We are fighting against this and have endured much for it. It has been very difficult, but when it comes to our homeland, our people, and the interests of our country, we will always stand where we are needed.

All of this is based on lies and falsehoods. The reality is entirely different from their statements. It is unfortunate, but we expect everything to change drastically”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
