Citizens of Ukraine, persons with permanent residence rights in Ukraine who entered Georgia due to the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine will receive assistance – GEL 300 per family and GEL 45 per person

The Government of Georgia has approved financial assistance for Ukrainian citizens and individuals with permanent residency rights in Ukraine who have entered Georgia due to the conflict.

Each family will receive GEL 300, and every individual will receive GEL 45 per person, with this support extending until July 1, 2025. The disbursement of these funds will be managed by the Social Service Agency.

The new decree allows Ukrainian citizens to stay in Georgia without a visa for 1 year from their date of entry. This provision affirms the right of Ukrainian nationals to enter Georgia without a visa and to remain for a full year.
