Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the Montenegro’s Diaspora Minister, who is on a working visit to Georgia.

Maka Botchorishvili and Mirsad Azemović discussed the relations between the countries, their shared priorities on the path to EU accession, the reform agenda, and opportunities for enhancing cooperation.

Georgian Minister underlined the Government’s commitment to engaging the Diaspora in the country’s development and encouraging citizens to leverage their expertise in promoting Georgia internationally.

The parties also addressed innovative state programs designed to strengthen ties with Diasporas. Azemović shared insights into Montenegro’s state policy, its challenges, and the importance of learning from Georgia’s experience.

Both sides agreed on the necessity of effective cooperation and active collaboration across all international platforms.
