
Chairman of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze, and Committee member and Gldani District representative, Vladimer Bozhadze, visited public schools in the Gldani district.
The MPs visited General Education Institutions No. 174, 79, 173, 69, 71, and 208, where they inspected the infrastructure and received information regarding the schools` current needs.
Givi Mikanadze and Vladimer Bozhadze also paid a visit to the LEPL Public College – Gldani Vocational Training Centre – where they familiarised themselves with the educational programmes available to students.
"In Gldani, we assessed the needs of local schools. In response to the existing challenges, infrastructure projects will be implemented to further enhance and improve the educational environment. At the same time, these efforts will contribute to the well-being of both students and teachers", - said Mikanadze.
Accompanying Givi Mikanadze and Vladimer Bozhadze in Gldani were: Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Giorgi Jincharadze; Director of the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency Irakli Kuprava; Chair of the Tbilisi City Council’s Education and Culture Commission Kakhaber Labuchidze; and representatives of the local municipality.
