A joint statement was issued after the trilateral meeting of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia in Tbilisi.

At the initiative of Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, trilateral meeting of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia was held in Tbilisi.

At the outset, the participants Lasha Darsalia, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia and Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan welcomed the 1st trilateral meeting of the 3 South Caucasus countries and acknowledged that 3 countries have untapped potential of cooperation based on full respect for each other`s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The meeting sought to advance trilateral cooperation across the areas of common interest, with the goal to foster sustainable growth and prosperity in the region. Furthermore, collaboration in these fields could facilitate addressing common challenges and ultimately contribute to long-term stability and swift development of the South Caucasus. The meeting served as an open exchange of views and presentation of visions on potential areas for collaboration.

At the end, the participants acknowledged the positive and constructive atmosphere of the meeting, which is regarded as an initial phase designed to build trust and pave the way for the eventual advancement of the dialogue to a higher level", - reads the statement.
