The Minister of Defence visited the Mukhatgverdi Brothers Cemetery on the day of Grave Blessing to honour the memory of fallen soldiers.

“At the Mukhatgverdi Brothers Cemetery, on the Day of Grave Blessing, we honoured and remembered our heroic soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for their homeland. The Georgian state stands on the courage and dedication of such individuals - officers and soldiers alike - who serve as a true example of patriotism.

Their sacrifice inspires us to continue strengthening our defence capabilities and building a secure future for our country. It is a great honour for me to once again meet the families of our heroes, and to express our deep gratitude and support for raising such brave sons”, - said Irakli Chikovani.
