Visit of the OSCE Secretary General to Georgia had driven the opposition into hysterics - Volski

Visit of Feridun Sinirlioğlu, the Secretary General of the OSCE, to Georgia had driven the opposition into hysterics. Such a statement made today Gia Volski, First Vice Speaker of the Parliament.

“It practically drives the domestic opposition into a state of hysteria. This is bad, on the one hand, because people or groups of people who are called political subjects are unable to perceive reality.

On the other hand, it is bad because the topic of destabilisation in Georgia is once again on the agenda. Something has to put an end to this, and the visit of a person of this level to Georgia is one of the important resources to put an end to this once and for all. And if anyone wants to maintain their relevance in the political arena, they must engage in the process - not in destructive or revolutionary efforts, but in genuine political dialogue”, - said Gia Volski.

His comments came after the opposition representatives noted that it would have been better if the visit of the OSCE Secretary General had not taken place.
