
Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and Head of Georgia`s Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, met with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu.
The meeting focused on Georgia`s internal political situation, ongoing developments, the upcoming local self-government elections, the country`s European integration path, and the current challenges along the way.
One of the key topics discussed was the ongoing cooperation between Georgia and the OSCE. Nikoloz Samkharadze reiterated Georgia`s active engagement within the organisation and highlighted the OSCE`s important role in supporting regional security and stability.
The meeting also addressed regional security dynamics, including Russia`s ongoing aggression against Ukraine, the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and their broader implications for peace and security in the region.
The meeting was attended by Alexander Maisuradze, Georgia`s Ambassador to the Republic of Austria and Permanent Representative to the OSCE and other international organisations based in Vienna.
