Prime Minister introduces new Infrastructure Minister Revaz Sokhadze to ministry’s personnel

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze introduced newly appointed Infrastructure Minister Revaz Sokhadze to the ministry’s personnel.

The Head of Government reiterated Revaz Sokhadze’s high qualification and thanked former Minister Irakli Karseladze for his service.

“The Ministry of Infrastructure has a special mission, and it lies in developing infrastructure, meaning the country’s qualitative transformation.

Much has been done, much has changed, something that should be notably credited to Irakli Karseladze, and I want to express special gratitude to him. Revaz Sokhadze, our political team’s member for many years, served as Member of the Municipal Assembly since 2017, also heading the Urban Commission.

Consequently, he was personally involved in matters related directly to the Ministry of Infrastructure. In addition, Mr. Sokhadze has served as MP from Samgori, and a lot has been done in the Samgori District under his leadership. It is a very good example illustrating. Mr. Sokhadze’s enthusiasm for serving the country over all these years.

I am confident that he will be a very successful leader in the Infrastructure Ministry as well, successfully continuing every cause initiated so far.

We have major tasks and important projects ahead, and they must be finalized or launched, and this cause calls for a strong leader, a professional, and a conscientious person. And these characteristics set Revaz Sokhadze apart. I want to wish him success in the capacity of minister”, - the Prime Minister stated.

Emphasizing the importance of teamwork, new Infrastructure Minister Revaz Sokhadze pointed out his readiness to continue working actively together with the ministry’s team in order to finalize set tasks.

“Once again, I would like to thank the Prime Minister. I take it as a major responsibility. Our task is to continue working even more actively, to complete set tasks conscientiously, and serve our country. Our principle rests in teamwork, and I am confident that together we will accomplish many important, good deeds”, - said Revaz Sokhadze.

Former Minister Irakli Karseladze thanked the Head of Government and the ministry’s team, also wishing success to the new minister.
