
Nino Jeladze, Vice Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, held a meeting with Talal F. Alhumoud, Vice Governor of the Saudi Central Bank.
During the meeting, Jeladze shared detailed information about Georgia’s macroeconomic indicators and the state of its financial sector. The discussion highlighted Georgia’s favorable investment environment, which presents significant opportunities for the development of innovative financial technologies and the attraction of financial institutions.
The two parties also explored the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding. This agreement would facilitate the exchange of information and expertise between the central banks of both countries in key areas such as supervisory reforms, payment systems, financial technologies, and monetary policy.
Talal F. Alhumoud emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation and expressed his strong interest in further developing the partnership.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Saudi Central Bank and was attended by representatives from various departments of the Saudi Central Bank as well as officials from the Georgian Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
