
Parliament approved the draft resolution on the “Establishment of Parliamentary Friendship Groups” with 79 votes in favour.
According to Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, friendship groups will be established between the Parliament of Georgia and the parliaments of various states, as outlined in the resolution.
The adoption of the resolution is based on Article 190 of the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure, which provides for the creation of friendship groups within the Parliament of Georgia to foster regular relations with the parliaments of other countries.
